EPA Report: Minn. Businesses Lead the Nation in Pollution Prevention

A new report shows that Minnesota businesses are doing a great job when it comes to pollution prevention.

The recently-released U.S. Environmental Protection Agency report says Minnesota businesses cut down on nearly 1 million pounds of toxic pollutant releases from 2012 to 2013. The data comes from the EPA’s Toxics Release Inventory program.

Becker Boy to Donate Bone Marrow to Sister Sick with Leukemia

A Becker, Minnesota, couple is days away from taking their 2-year-old daughter, Ava, to have a bone marrow transplant.

The little girl has a rare form of leukemia. Her bone marrow donor is making this situation even more emotional for the family of four.

"I'm going to give her cells and make her better," said T.J. Oeding, Ava's 5-year-old brother.

SCSU Study Shows Better Job Market for Minn. College Graduates

College graduates in Minnesota are expected to see more opportunities for employment this year.

A new study conducted by St. Cloud University asked 103 employers about hiring in 2015.

More than 50 percent of employers surveyed plan to increase their hiring, which is up from 35.9 percent in 2014. This is the largest increase since 2007.
